Hi, I am Rebecca Vale.

I am an Equine and Rodeo photographer from Darwin, Northern Territory.

I grew up from a very young age riding horses and playing in the bush as our backyard or going to friends places with cattle.

My love of Rodeo photography comes form my love of rodeos, cattle and horses.

Well I was never going to compete on bulls and it took 4 years of horse riding to get over my fear so I knew I could never compete professionally even though I competed in a few rodeos as a child at Robbie Robbins Reserve.. So what was next? Rodeo Photography of course.. Kill two birds with one stone..

I love the action, the excitement, the smell, the dust and dirt.. Thing they call rodeo.. And so I literally fell into photographing rodeos. From here, I have progressed to Horse events and now venturing into uncharted waters with Kid photography, but you’ll see more on that subject in a few months..
